Micro Surfacing is a polymer modified cold mix paving system that can solve a broad range of problems on streets, highways and airfields. It begins as a mixture of dense-graded aggregate, asphalt emulsion water and mineral fillers. Micro surfacing has many added capabilities owing to the use of high quality materials including advanced polymers and other moderna additives. It is now recognized as not only the most cost effective way to treat the surface wheel rutting problem, but also a variety of other road surface problems.
Application: A calibrated micro surfacing machine is used to produces and place the mixture in variable thickness as per specification. the rate of application of spray shall be adjusted during the day to suit temperature, surface texture and humidity. System efficiency provides lower cost and reduced delays to motorists.
